Elite Premier Installers of James Hardie

James Hardie Fiber Cement Siding

Old siding off, the wall wrapped, and James Hardie plank and trim laid up course by course on homes and commercial buildings in Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Wagner County.

What fails on a wall of swollen lap board

Siding rarely gives up all at once. On a Tulsa or Broken Arrow house it starts at the lower courses and around the windows, where water collects behind and inside the board. LP Smart Siding swells from collecting water over the years, and a swollen lap board no longer lies flat against the course below it.

Once the board moves, the paint on it moves too. The film cracks along the edge, lifts at the nail line, and the wall starts to look tired long before anyone can say exactly when it began. Repainting a swollen board only hides the board for a season.

Fiber cement is the answer Oklahoma Siding gives to that problem, and James Hardie is the only brand the crew installs. It is a blend of cement, sand and cellulose fibers, built for strength, water resistance and low maintenance, on residential and commercial walls alike.

How the old wall comes off and the new one goes up

The old siding comes off first, down to the sheathing, so the crew can see what the wall has actually been doing behind the board. Then the wall is wrapped, and the new James Hardie plank and trim go on from the bottom course up, one straight course after another.

Mike Ross started Oklahoma Siding in 2012, and the shop is locally and family-owned in Broken Arrow. They are Elite Premier Installers of James Hardie, and they count over 70 homes completed with James Hardie siding. That is a count of finished houses, not a promise about the next one, which is why the estimate comes first and it is free.

What stays with the wall after the crew leaves

James Hardie siding is impervious to water, fire and animals, and it holds paint better than the boards it replaces. That is the practical reason behind the brand choice, and it is what a house owner lives with for years afterward.

Oklahoma Siding honors the manufacturer's warranties and adds its own 5-Year Craftsmanship Warranty on all services. Oklahoma Siding also does exterior painting and wood rot repair, so a wall that needs paint or a rotted board replaced can be handled by the same company.

Hearth financing is available with a 0% option for 18 months for credit scores above 680, and there is a 5% discount for military and seniors. Ask about both when you call.

The question owners ask

LP Smart Siding or James Hardie?

LP Smart Siding swells from collecting water over the years. James Hardie is impervious to water, fire and animals, holds paint better, and looks better on your home. That is why Oklahoma Siding installs James Hardie exclusively.
